rivers-a large natural stream of fresh water that flows into a lake or ocean.

gills-the organ of a fish's side through which it breathes.

fins-a part on the body of a fish shaped like a flap that is used for moving and steering throught he water.

cold-blooded-animals have body temperatures that change according to the temperature of their surroundings. (fish and snakes are cold-blooded)

warm-blooded-animals have a body temperature that remains approximately the same, whatever their surroundings. (birds and mammals, including humans are warm-blooded).
